If wishes were horses, everyone would ride, and the pursuit for happiness would end at the finish line. However, that being not the case, the pursuit for happiness is a life time race that entangles various aspects of life including fashion; a current (constantly changing) trend, favored for frivolous rather than practical, logical, or intellectual reasons.
Does our society tend to express happiness in terms of wealth and possessions rather than expressing at least the same importance to ‘internal’ happiness. Reflecting both your personality and taste, fashion also defines your worth.
Blending in or standing out, what amounts to happiness? Does it feel good to look good? And does feel great to be expensive? Does any of these amount to happiness, pleasure or satisfaction?
